The Elemenatry Art Program serves all grades K-5. The classes are in a "specials" rotation, seeing each specialist for a week at a time every afternoon. Here at MHS Art is VERY special...due to the High School "Block" schedule when Elementary has art they have it from 1:30PM until 3:00PM every afternoon for an entire week.We work (and play) in a wide variety of media and the long class period lends itself perfectly to in depth exploration for the upper elementary and shorter varied projects for the lower elementary.
