EXPECTATIONS:
- Students are expected to be in class on time prior to the bell.
- Students are expected to follow directions the first time they
are given. Arguments, talking
back, and insubordination of any kind will result in disciplinary
action. I forbid obscene, profane,
or abusive language and/or gestures as well.
- Any type of public display of affection is not permitted.
- For students not enrolled in a computer class, computers will
remain OFF until students have worked ahead of their respective due
dates.
- Unauthorized computer usage, to include playing games, will
result in a suspension period of time:
a) 1st offense – Verbal warning, off the computer for the
day.
b) 2nd offense – Contact Mr. Bryan, email parents, off for
the week
c) 3rd offense – “ “ “ “ “ “,
off 30 days or more.
- Agenda use is mandatory.
Write down your LAP activities, due dates, and test dates. You will need a written pass from me in
your student agenda to travel to other locations in the building.
- Cassettes, radios, walkmans, beepers, Game Boys, mobile phones,
headphones, and similar items are not permitted.
- Discrimination and acts of violence are prohibited. Verbal abuse, antagonizing, fighting,
pushing, shoving, and bodily contact are inappropriate behaviours and will
not be tolerated. I do give
detentions. I do contact parents.
- Following an absence, I do expect you to come to class on time
with an admit slip from the office.
I do expect you to find out what work you have missed and to make
up that work according to the timelines given in the handbook.
10. NO FOOD OR
DRINKS are allowed near the computers.
Bottled water is allowed on the tables in the center of the room.
MATERIALS REQUIRED DAILY
Each day you should bring to class your
agenda, a pen, and paper. Ensure that
you are organized. You will NOT be
allowed to go to your locker to retrieve forgotten items.
